Stich: 26–27 марта в г.Марселе проходил 9-й международный конкурс оперетты. Из 39 участников 9 прошли три тура и вышли в финал. В числе финалистов оказалась молодая артистка нашего театра Кристина Дашкевич. В аттестате, полученном Кристиной директор марсельского театра «ОДЕОН» председатель жюри Жан – Жак Шазале отметил, что она проявила «единогласно признанный талант» и «достойно представила свою страну на конкурсе». Stich: CONCOURS INTERNATIONAL D’OPERETTES ET DE THEATRE MUSICAL DE LA VILLE DE MARSEILLE REGLEMENT GENERAL Conditions générales de participation La Ville de Marseille organise un concours annuel d’Opérettes dans le but d’oeuvrer, tant sur le plan national qu’international, à la promotion de talents nouveaux dans le domaine de l’Opérette et du Théâtre musical. Le concours est ouvert sans distinction de nationalité à tous les artistes interprètes (chanteurs, fantaisistes, rôles de composition) âgés de moins de quarante ans à la date du concours. Toutefois, les candidats ayant dépassé cet âge, et qui, compte tenu de leurs qualités, seraient désireux de participer aux épreuves, auront la possibilité de présenter leur candidature accompagnée d’une lettre de motivation permettant au jury de statuer sur leur participation dans un délai de quinze jours à compter de la date de réception de la demande d’inscription. Le concours se déroulera à Marseille, les 17 et 18 mars 2012. Les épreuves sont publiques. Modalités du concours Les candidats peuvent se présenter soit en soliste soit en duo dans l’une des trois catégories suivantes : - Chant - Fantaisie - Comédie Musicale (sans micro) En outre, s'ils le désirent, des candidats inscrits dans la catégorie « duettistes » pourront également se présenter à titre individuel sous réserve de fournir un second dossier d'inscription. Ils proposeront au moment de leur inscription, cinq morceaux ou duos de leur choix dont deux au minimum appartiendront au répertoire français: – un morceau ou duo pour l'épreuve éliminatoire. – deux morceaux ou duos pour la demi-finale – deux morceaux ou duos pour la finale Les morceaux ou duos seront donnés soit dans leur version originale soit en langue française. Sur scène, ils devront être interprétés sans partition. Le respect de la tonalité originale est de rigueur. Il est précisé que pour l'épreuve de la demi-finale, les candidats, selon leur nombre, pourront être amenés à n'interpréter qu'un seul des deux morceaux ou duos proposés. Dans ce cas, le choix du morceau ou du duo appartiendra exclusivement au jury. 1 L’accompagnement du concours sera assuré par des pianistes prévus par les organisateurs sans frais supplémentaires pour les candidats ; toutefois, les candidats qui le désirent peuvent être accompagnés, à leurs frais, par un pianiste de leur choix. Dans le cas de concurrents se présentant en duettistes, il est précisé qu'en aucun cas l'un d'entre eux ne pourra être considéré comme donnant simplement la réplique et que de ce fait, le duo sera jugé dans sa globalité. Modalités d’inscription La date limite d’inscription est fixée au samedi 25 février 2012 Le dossier d’inscription doit comporter les pièces suivantes : • La fiche d’inscription • La photocopie d’une pièce d’identité établissant l’âge du candidat (ou des candidats pour les concurrents en duo) • Une photographie du ou des candidats (suffisamment exploitable pour être utilisée, éventuellement, dans un programme) • Une liste de cinq morceaux ou duos proposés au jury • Le règlement du montant de l’inscription accompagné d'un RIB du compte où sera éventuellement versé le montant du (ou des) prix obtenu(s). • Dans le cas de concurrents duettistes, il sera demandé un RIB de chacun d'eux car; afin d'éviter toute contestation ultérieure, le prix éventuellement obtenu sera réglé par moitié à chacun des candidats. La notification de l’inscription définitive sera faîte par courrier dès réception du dossier complet. Les candidats ne pourront être jugés que par rapport à la catégorie dans laquelle ils se sont inscrits. Il en résulte que le jury se réserve la possibilité de récuser des morceaux qui ne relèveraient pas du répertoire correspondant à la catégorie choisie ; dans ce cas, le candidat sera invité dès le dépôt de sa candidature, à proposer un morceau de remplacement. Il est précisé, par ailleurs 1°) que les candidats ayant obtenu un 1 e r prix dans l’une des différentes catégories, ne seront pas autorisés à participer au concours, dans la même catégorie, au cours des deux années suivantes. 2°) que les candidats ayant participé à la Finale d e l’année précédente, seront dispensés de l’épreuve des éliminatoires et seront, de ce fait, admis directement en demi-finale. Montant de l’inscription Les frais d’inscription au concours d’Opérettes de Marseille s’élèvent à 35 ? (trente cinq euros) à régler par chèque postal ou bancaire libellé à l’ordre du Trésor Public. Les duettistes acquitteront le même montant qui sera réglé globalement par l'un des deux concurrents. Ce tirage au sort aura lieu en public le vendredi 16 mars 2012 à 17h au siège administratif de l’Odéon, 24 rue Montgrand 13006 Marseille (la présence des candidats n’est pas obligatoire ) Une rencontre avec les pianistes est prévue le matin du concours afin de préciser les tempi et les conventions. Pour les finalistes, une répétition complète aura lieu sur scène, le dimanche matin à partir de 11h, toujours selon l'ordre du tirage au sort. Afin de répartir équitablement le travail des accompagnateurs, il est bien précisé que les candidats pourront être accompagnés par des pianistes différents au cours des diverses phases de la compétition. Il est donc vivement conseillé aux candidats d’adresser leurs partitions au Théâtre, avant le concours afin de permettre aux pianistes de les étudier si nécessaire. Ces partitions seront évidemment restituées à leurs propriétaires. Déroulement des épreuves Une tenue simple mais correcte est acceptée pour participer aux épreuves (éliminatoires et demi-finale). Pour la finale, une tenue de soirée est exigée sauf dans le cas où la prestation scénique nécessiterait une tenue particulière. Éliminatoires Les candidats interprèteront leur morceau (ou duo) dont la durée maximum ne devra pas excéder six minutes au-delà desquelles le président du jury aura la possibilité d’interrompre l’intervention du candidat. 3 Demi Finale Le jury se réserve le droit de ne retenir qu'un seul des deux morceaux (ou duos) proposés (selon le nombre de candidats). Dans ce cas, le candidat devra interpréter le morceau (ou duo) qui aura été sélectionné par le jury. Ce choix sera précisé au moment de l'émargement des candidats, le matin même du concours. Finale L’épreuve se déroulera en deux parties, chaque candidat intervenant au cours de chacune d’elles, la première partie dans l’ordre du tirage au sort, la deuxième partie dans l’ordre inverse. Les candidats interprèteront les deux airs ou duos qu’ils auront choisis. (un air par partie) En outre, au cours de l’épreuve, les candidats (même non-francophones) devront proposer un court monologue parlé (ou scène pour les duettistes) , non lu, de leur choix, en langue française qui permettra de juger de leur capacité interprétative et de leur diction. Ce texte sera présenté indifféremment à leur convenance, au cours de la première ou de la seconde partie. Les résultats seront proclamés après délibération du jury, à l’issue de la finale. Composition du jury Le jury placé sous la présidence d’honneur du Maire de Marseille ou de son délégué, sera composé exclusivement de professionnels : directeurs de théâtres programmant plusieurs opérettes dans leur saison, artistes d’opérettes, agents artistiques ou journalistes spécialisés dans le théâtre musical. Les délibérations du jury sont sans appel. Prix et récompenses, susceptibles d’être attribués (indépendamment d’engagements éventuels au Théâtre de l’Odéon) Le Concours d’Opérettes de Marseille remettra les prix suivants : Catégorie CHANT : 1er Prix Femme 2000? (deux mille euros) 2ème Prix Femme 1300? (mille trois cents euros) 1er Prix Homme 2000? (deux mille euros) 2ème Prix Homme 1300? (mille trois cents euros) Catégorie FANTAISIE 1er Prix 2000? (mille trois cents euros) 4 Dans chacune des quatre catégories ci-dessus, en cas de non attribution du 1er prix, il pourra être créé un troisième prix dont le montant est fixé à 1 000 ? (mille euros) Prix du Public Montant du prix : 800? (huit cents euros) Résultant d’un vote organisé auprès des spectateurs pendant la délibération du jury. Mention spéciale du jury Montant du prix : 500? (cinq cents euros) Pouvant être attribué à un candidat ou une candidate qui se serait distingué de quelque manière que ce soit dans l’une ou l’autre des catégories sans pouvoir prétendre à un premier ou un second prix. Les raisons de cette attribution seront clairement énoncées à la lecture du palmarès. Remarques : Si l’un des prix sus énoncés était attribué à des candidats ex-æquo, le montant de ce prix serait partagé entre ces derniers. A ces prix pourront s’ajouter des dotations ou récompenses attribuées par des partenaires du concours et qui, le cas échéant, feront l’objet d’annonces particulières. Un même lauréat (soliste ou duettistes) peut cumuler plusieurs prix. En outre, le fait de cumuler un premier prix dans l’une des catégories ainsi que le prix du public permettra l’obtention du diplôme « Prix d’Honneur de la Ville de Marseille ». Le versement des prix sera effectué par mandat administratif à l’ordre des candidats, dans les délais autorisés au Comptable Public, par la Loi. Litiges Le jury est seul habilité à prendre les décisions propres à régler tout problème lié à l’organisation des épreuves qui ne trouverait pas une réponse clairement explicitée dans le présent règlement ; dans ce cas, celles-ci seront sans appel. La participation au concours sous-entend l’acceptation sans réserve du présent règlement. En cas de litige, seule la rédaction en langue française fera foi.

Stich: INTERNATIONAL OPERETTA AND MUSICAL THEATER COMPETITION OF THE CITY OF MARSEILLE GENERAL RULES General conditions of participation The city of Marseille is organizing, since 2003, an annual operetta competition in order to promote new talents in the operetta and Musical theatre fields, on the national and international plan. The competition is open without any distinction of nationality, to all performers (singers, fantasists, composition roles) who are less than forty at the date of the competition. However, applicants who are more than forty, and who, given their qualities, would like to participate in the competition, will have the possibility to apply, with a cover letter, allowing the jury to decide on their participation within 15 days from the reception of the application request. The competition will take place in Marseille, on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of March 2013. The event is public. Terms of the competition Candidates can apply either in soloist or in duet in one of the three following categories: - Singing - Fantasia - Musical comedy (with a microphone) Moreover, if they wish, applicants registered for the “duet” category will be able to apply individually, on condition that they provide a second application form. When they register, they will propose five pieces or duets of their choice, two of which will have to belong to the French repertoire: - one piece or duet for the eliminatory trial - two pieces or duets for the semi-final - two pieces or duets for the finale Pieces or duets will be given either in their original version or in French. On the scene, they will have to be performed without any musical score. The original tone must be respected. For the semi-final trial, applicants, according to their number, might be lead to perform only one of the two pieces or duets proposed. In this case, the choice of the piece or duet will exclusively belong to the jury. The accompaniment of the competition will be provided by pianists designed by the organizers without any additional fee for the applicants; however, applicants, if they wish, can be accompanied by a pianist of their choice, at their own expenses. It will be necessary to make it clear in the registering form. In the case of duettist contestants, by no means one of them could be considered only playing opposite, and as a result, the duet will be judged in its entirety.

Stich: Enrolment procedure The deadline for enrolment is Saturday, February 9th 2013. The enrolment form must include: - The enrolment form - A photocopy of the identity card, determining the age of the applicant (or the applicants for duettists). - A photo of the candidate(s) (readable as it could possibly be used in a program). - A list of five pieces or duets proposed to the jury. - The payment of the amount of the enrolment, with bank account details where can be paid the amount of the prize(s) won. In the case of duettists, bank account details of each person are asked because, in order to avoid any subsequent contestation, the prize they may win will be cut in half for each of the candidates. The final enrolment notice will be done by mail as soon as the complete form is received. Candidates will only be judged according the category in which they enrolled. As a consequence, the jury might reject any piece that would not match the repertoire corresponding to the chosen category; in this case, the candidate will be invited to propose a replacing piece at the time of the application. Moreover: 1) Candidates who have won the first prize in one of the different categories, will not be allowed to participate in the competition, in the same category, during the two following years. 2) Candidates that have participated in the Finale of the previous year won’t have to take the eliminatories and will thus be directly admitted in semi-final. Enrolment fees The fees for enrolling the competition of Operettas of Marseille amount to 35? (thirty five euros), to be paid by check, made out to Trésor Public. Duettists will pay the same amount, which will be globally settled by one of the two contestants. The fees for enrolment won’t, in any case, be refunded, from the moment that the candidate will be admitted to compete. Stich: Procedure for the competition The competition takes place in three phases: - Eliminatories, on Friday March 1st 2013 at 5pm - Semi-final, on Saturday March 2nd 2013 at 3pm - Finale, on Sunday March 3rd 2013 at 3pm A public random selection will determinate the order of presentation of the candidates, all categories taken together, and won’t be modified during the competition. Contingent on this selection, the candidates will have to estimate their hour of presentation, to go in the posted order. In the contrary case, they take the risk not to be able to rehearse or compete unless they have a valid reason, accepted by the jury. This random selection will take place in public on Thursday, February 28 th 2013 at 3:30pm at the Odéon 162 la Canebière 13001 Marseille ( Presence of the candidates is optional) A meeting with the pianists is scheduled: · For the eliminatories: Friday March 1st between 1 and 4 pm to make the tempi and conventions clear. · For the semi-final: Saturday March 2nd from 11 to 12 am and from 1 to 2 pm. · For the finale: a complete rehearsal will take place on stage, on Sunday morning from 11 am. In order to share out fairly the work of the accompanists, it is made clear that the candidates can be accompanied by different pianists during the several phases of the competition. Thus, the candidates are strongly advised to address their music scores to the Theater, before the competition, in order that the pianists can check them over if necessary. These musical scores will obviously be given back to their owners. Sequence of events Simple but correct clothes are accepted to participate in the events (eliminatories and semifinal). For the finale, a formal dress is required, except if the scenic performance demands a particular dress. Eliminatories Candidates will perform their piece (or duet), which maximum length shouldn’t exceed six minutes, otherwise the president of the jury will have the possibility to interrupt the candidate’s performance. Semi-final Candidates will perform their two pieces (or duets) on the bounce. The jury has got the right to only keep one of the two pieces (or duets) proposed (according to the number of candidates). In this case, the candidates will have to perform the piece (or duet) selected by the jury. This choice will be precised at the moment of the signature of the candidates, on the morning of the competition. - 4 - Finale The event will take place in two parts, each candidate performing during each one of them, the first part in the order of the random selection, the other one in reverse order. The candidates will perform the two pieces or duets they have chosen (one piece per part). Moreover, during the event, the candidates (even the non French-speaking) will have to propose a short spoken monologue (or scene for the duettists), not read, of their choice, in French, that will allow judging their interpretation and their elocution. This text will be presented either in first or second part. The results will be given after the jury’s deliberation, at the end of the Finale. Composition of the jury The jury placed under the honorary presidency of the mayor of Marseille or of his representative, will be exclusively composed of professionals: directors of theaters who program several operettas in their season, operetta artists, artistic agents or journalists specialized in musical theater. The deliberations of the jury are final. Prices and rewards Likely to be awarded (regardless of any possible commitment to the Théâtre de l’Odéon) The operetta competition of Marseille will present the following prices: SINGING category : 1st prize women: 2000? (two thousand euros) 2nd prize women: 1300? (one thousand and three hundred euros) 1st prize men: 2000? (two thousand euros) 2nd prize men: 1300? (one thousand and three hundred euros) FANTASIA category: 1st prize: 2000? (two thousand euros) 2nd prize: 1300? (one thousand and three hundred euros) MUSICAL COMEDY category: 1st prize: 2000? (two thousand euros) 2nd prize: 1300? (one thousand and three hundred euros) DUETS category: 1st prize: 2000? (two thousand euros) 2nd prize: 1300? (one thousand and three hundred euros) In each of the four categories above, in case the first prize is not attributed, a 3rd prize can be created, the amount of which is set to 1000? (one thousand euros). Prize of the Public Amount of the prize: 800? (eight hundred euros) Resulting of a vote organized among the audience during the deliberation of the jury. - 5 - Special mention of the jury Amount of the prize: 500? (five hundred euros) Can be attributed to a candidate that will have distinguished him/herself in any way in one category without being able to aspire to a first or second prize. The reasons for this attribution will be clearly set out during the reading of the honors. Indemnification of the finalists All the candidates admitted to participate in the Finale will receive a compensation of 150? (hundred and fifty euros) as a participation to their living expenses. Comments: If one of the prizes above was given to ex-aequo candidates, the amount of this prize would be shared between the latter. Allocations or rewards attributed by partners of the competition can be added to those prizes. If necessary, they will be the subject of particular announcements. One winner (soloist or duettist) can combine several prizes. Moreover, the fact to combine a first prize in one of the categories as well as the public prize will allow the achievement of the “Honor Prize of the City of Marseille”. The payment of the prizes will be carried out by administrative money order payable to the candidates, within the deadlines authorized to the Public Accountant by the Law. Litigation The jury is the only one authorized to take the decisions to solve any problems linked to the organization of the events that wouldn’t find an answer clearly explicit in the present rules; in this case, the decisions will be final. The participation to the competition implies the acceptance without reserve of the present rules. In case of litigation, only the drafting in French will be valid
